CHSWG

The Cheshire Children's Hearing Services Working Group (CHSWG) consists of a range of health and education professionals, along with a number of Parent Representatives. We all meet 4 times a year to discuss a range of issues relating to the services provided to hearing impaired children. By building stronger relationships between the different professional services and parents our aim is to ensure that everyone involved in the support of hearing impaired children and their families works together to improve the services available.
We currently have two of our ECDCS committee members involved in CHSWG, which provides a useful link between the two groups and allows us to take issues forward for discussion on behalf of local parents.

We are always looking for more parents to become involved with CHSWG and it's not something that will take up a lot of your time. We meet for a couple of hours every 3 months, usually on a Thursday morning in Middlewich, and your travel costs are reimbursed.

If you would like to find out more about getting involved please contact Julie-Ann Doorbar on 07762578531 or Amanda Barker.
